Job Requirements
- 3+ years of kitchen management experience
- current ServSafe certification
- experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue
- ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- capability in profit and loss management
- leadership and team management skills
- organizational skills
- ability to manage sanitation and health compliance
- physical ability to walk, bend, stand for extended periods and lift objects with some assistance
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of kitchen management experience
- bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
- experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue required
- experience preparing banquet-style events
- current ServSafe certification required
- ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred
Job Duties
- Adhere to the company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
- maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, as well as operating cash flow related to food operations
- review monthly profit and loss statements and make adjustments as necessary
- work with the operations team and sales staff to plan, supervise, and execute all events, including preparation, service, and cleanup
- estimate food consumption and make purchases according to the food program
- schedule staff efficiently to accommodate business volume shifts
- recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
- ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
- supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of all food
- facilitate and manage kitchen equipment maintenance
- implement and conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with Department of Health regulations
