  • 2-4 years restaurant kitchen experience
  • experience as prep or line cook
  • ability to train and lead staff
  • flexible availability to work varied hours
  • reliable transportation and valid drivers license
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of sanitation and safety standards

Job Duties

  • follows sanitation standards and procedures complying with legal regulations
  • assists the General Manager in overseeing the restaurant operations P and L, monitoring production output and food costs
  • maintains ongoing proper food inventory levels and product pricing
  • follows company guidelines on vendor relationships
  • assists the Restaurant Manager in developing and implementing menu sales promotions and assure the success of the promotions
  • assists the General Manager with the recruiting and hiring of Kitchen Crew and Utility Staff
  • assists with ordering and maintenance of all food and paper inventories
  • assures that all safety and security procedures are followed within the restaurant
