Job Requirements

  • 2-4 years restaurant kitchen experience
  • Has held responsible positions of prep or line cook
  • Ability to train, guide and lead staff
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Good problem solving techniques
  • Good interpersonal skills, works well with a team
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • Valid drivers license with reliable transportation

Job Duties

  • Follows sanitation standards and procedures complying with legal regulations
  • Assists the General Manager in overseeing the restaurant operations P&L, monitoring production output and food costs
  • Maintains ongoing proper food inventory levels and product pricing
  • Follows company guidelines on vendor relationships
  • Assists the Restaurant Manager in developing and implementing menu sales promotions and assure the success of the promotions
  • Assists the General Manager with the recruiting and hiring of Kitchen Crew and Utility Staff
  • Assists with ordering and maintenance of all food and paper inventories
  • Assures that all safety and security procedures are followed within the restaurant
