Job Requirements
- Must have ServSafe certification
- Proven experience in restaurant or food service management
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Capability to manage inventory and control costs
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to work in all store areas
- Willingness to perform clerical tasks and use a computer
- Commitment to maintaining safety and cleanliness standards
Job Qualifications
- ServSafe certification
- Proven work experience as a restaurant manager, restaurant general manager, or similar role
- Proven customer service experience as a manager with problem-solving skills
- Extensive food and beverage knowledge
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
- Working knowledge of food service and coffee equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot minor problems
Job Duties
- Responsible for the daily operation of all food service areas including made to order food, commissary food, bakery, and dispensed beverages including self-service and full-service
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
- Organize and supervise shifts
- Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity, identify and coach specialists for specific food service areas
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards
- Control operational costs and moderate waste and lost sales
- Order and maintain proper inventory levels for goods, supplies, utensils and cleaning products
- Train new and current employees on customer service practices
- Recruit, hire and train new employees as needed
- Enforce all company procedures and protocols
- Perform other store tasks as assigned by store manager
- Provide the best customer experience to every customer
- Greet every customer with a smile and sincere greeting
- Suggest possible purchases and promote specials
- Assume full responsibility for customer service program execution at site level
- Minimize safety risks to employees, customers and suppliers and assure employee safety training
- Enforce environmental and hazardous material regulations
- Maintain safety and security of the store and report accidents and incidents
- Maintain customer environment inside and around store perimeter
- Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently
- Support implementation of the Nouria Safety and Health program
- Report and investigate workplace accidents, injuries, incidents, or illnesses
- Complete new employee safety orientation
- Regularly inspect store for hazards and initiate corrective action
- Encourage employees to report unsafe conditions
- Promote quick return to work for supervised employees
