Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years of kitchen management required

Job Duties

  • Provide direction, coaching, and leadership for all BOH employees including food preparation and production, safety and sanitation, and company policies and procedures
  • Hire, coach, and train kitchen staff to perform various assignments and handle equipment
  • Responsible for training kitchen and concessions personnel in cleanliness and sanitation practices
  • Ensure employee adherence to company policies and procedures in partnership with HRBP
  • Utilize all tools necessary to ensure quality food is prepared to recipe specification within company-approved ticket times
  • Ensure freshness of food products through proper purchasing and product rotation using FIFO method
  • Check food storage and temperatures daily and record on log sheets, notifying maintenance of issues
  • Attend trainings for new menu items and train kitchen staff on proper preparation
  • Communicate, implement, and follow up on changes for food products and kitchen procedures
  • Check and maintain proper food holding and refrigeration temperature control points
  • Responsible for rollouts of company initiatives and new menu implementation
  • Ensure daily opening, mid, and closing operation duties are completed
  • Maintain kitchen equipment per manufacturer instructions and manage repairs
  • Deliver exceptional guest experience through great food and drinks
  • Practice proactive guest management and resolve issues positively
  • Assist managers and General Manager with FOH duties as necessary
  • Responsible for weekly scheduling of kitchen staff according to theater occupancy and movie schedule
  • Execute private events to maximize sales and enhance guest experience
  • Control food cost and usage following proper requisition, storage, recipes, and waste control
  • Ensure successful delivery of daily and weekly budgets, goals, and objectives
  • Other duties as assigned
