Job Requirements

  • three plus years of kitchen management experience
  • current servsafe certification
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • capability in profit and loss management

Job Qualifications

  • three plus years of kitchen management experience
  • bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues required
  • experience preparing banquet-style events preferred
  • current servsafe certification required
  • servsafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred

Job Duties

  • adhere to the company’s mandated f&b menu and purchasing programs
  • maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
  • review monthly profit & loss statements and adjust as necessary
  • collaborate with operations and sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute all events including food and beverage service and cleanup
  • estimate food consumption and make purchases accordingly
  • efficiently schedule staff to accommodate business fluctuations
  • recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
  • ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • supervise food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage
  • manage kitchen equipment maintenance and conduct sanitation audits to meet local department of health regulations
