Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
  • Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the store
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Prolonged periods of standing

Job Qualifications

  • ServSafe certification
  • Proven work experience as a restaurant manager, restaurant general manager, or similar role
  • Proven customer service experience as a manager with problem solving skills
  • Extensive food and beverage knowledge
  • Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
  • Working knowledge of food service and coffee equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot minor problems

Job Duties

  • Responsible for the daily operation of all Food Service Areas including Made to Order Food, Commissary Food, Bakery, and Dispensed Beverage including self-service and full-service
  • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
  • Organize and supervise shifts
  • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity and identify and coach up specialists
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards
  • Control operational costs and moderate waste and lost sales
  • Order and maintain proper inventory levels for goods, supplies, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
  • Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
  • Recruit, hire and train new employees as needed
  • Enforce all company procedures and protocols
  • Provide the best customer experience to every customer
  • Greet every customer with a smile and sincere greeting
  • Suggest possible purchases to customers and promote specials
  • Assume full responsibility for the execution of Nouria's customer service program
  • Minimize safety risks to employees, customers, and suppliers
  • Assure that all site employees are trained on safety policies and procedures
  • Enforce environmental and hazardous material regulations
  • Maintain safety and security of the store and document any accidents or incidents
  • Manage maintenance of the customer environment inside and around the store perimeter
  • Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently
  • Support implementation of the Nouria Safety and Health program
  • Promptly report and investigate workplace accidents, injuries, incidents, or illnesses
  • Complete new employee safety orientation
  • Regularly inspect for workplace hazards and initiate corrective actions
  • Encourage reporting of unsafe conditions
  • Promote quick return to work for employees
  • Ensure physical maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of all store facilities
  • Perform other related duties as required
