Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferably 2 years of experience in restaurant, bar, or kitchen management
  • Knowledge of labor laws and health codes
  • Understanding of safe food handling and sanitation practices
  • Ability to lead and motivate team members
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Preferably have 2 years of restaurant, bar, or kitchen management experience
  • General knowledge of labor laws, health codes, safe food handling and sanitation
  • Knowledge of responsible alcohol service, safety and security systems and procedures
  • Passion for training and developing team members
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to operate computer systems related to kitchen management

Job Duties

  • Oversee and manage all kitchen operations for the Heart-of-House team
  • Provide direction and supervision for all HOH team members
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, health codes, and safe food handling practices
  • Manage safety and security procedures within the kitchen
  • Collaborate with other management to maintain quality and operational standards
  • Train and develop team members to enhance skills and performance
  • Monitor inventory and control food costs
