Job Requirements

  • minimum of 3 years kitchen management experience
  • valid ServSafe certification
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • experience in high-volume food service environments
  • ability to work in fast-paced, physically demanding settings
  • ability to manage budgets and food costs
  • knowledge of food safety regulations
  • proficient in staff scheduling and training
  • commitment to quality and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of kitchen management experience
  • bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue required
  • experience preparing banquet style events
  • current ServSafe certification required
  • ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred

Job Duties

  • adhere to the company’s mandated f&b menu and purchasing programs
  • maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, as well as operating cash flow
  • review monthly profit & loss statements and make adjustments as necessary
  • work with operations and sales staff to plan, supervise, and execute all events including food and beverage service and cleanup
  • assist with cooking when needed
  • estimate food consumption and make purchases as appropriate from specified food program
  • schedule staff efficiently to accommodate shifts in business volume
  • recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
  • ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of food
  • facilitate and manage kitchen equipment maintenance
  • implement and conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with local Department of Health regulations
