Job Requirements

  • 3 years of kitchen management experience
  • 2 years of culinary experience
  • ability to work 10 hour shifts including evenings and weekends
  • in person work location
  • strong organizational skills
  • knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation guidelines
  • experience managing staff in a high volume restaurant
  • ability to handle inventory and cost reporting
  • excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of proven work experience as an Assistant Kitchen Manager, Kitchen Manager, or Executive Chef with volume exceeding 1 million dollars
  • 2+ years of culinary experience
  • hands-on experience with menu creation
  • vast knowledge of classic food recipes
  • familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
  • excellent organizational skills
  • conflict resolution skills
  • ability to manage a team in a fast-paced work environment
  • flexibility to work during evenings and weekends
  • culinary school certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage kitchen inventory and ordering
  • supervise food prep and cooking
  • check food plating and temperature
  • establish portion sizes
  • schedule kitchen staff shifts
  • price menu items in collaboration with the Culinary Director
  • order food supplies and kitchen equipment as needed
  • train kitchen staff on prep work and food plating techniques
  • store food products in compliance with safety practices
  • keep weekly and monthly cost reports
  • maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area
