Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of kitchen management experience
  • Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue
  • Current ServSafe certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
  • 3+ years of kitchen management experience
  • Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue required
  • Experience preparing banquet-style events
  • Current ServSafe certification required
  • ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
  • Review monthly profit and loss statements and make adjustments as necessary
  • Work with the Operations team and Sales staff to plan, supervise, and execute all events including preparation and service of all food and beverages, and assist with cooking when needed
  • Estimate food consumption and make purchases as appropriate
  • Schedule staff efficiently to accommodate business volume shifts
  • Work with management to recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
  • Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • Supervise food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage
  • Manage kitchen equipment maintenance and sanitation audits to comply with Department of Health regulations
