Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three years of kitchen management experience
- ServSafe certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Capability to lead and motivate a diverse team
- Willingness to comply with health and safety regulations
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods and lift objects with assistance
Job Qualifications
- Three or more years of kitchen management experience
- Bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
- Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues
- Experience preparing banquet-style events
- Current ServSafe certification
- ServSafe instructor certification or ability to obtain is preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage profit and loss
Job Duties
- Adhere to the company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
- Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
- Review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
- Collaborate with Operations and Sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute all events, including food and beverage preparation and cleanup
- Assist with cooking as needed
- Estimate food consumption and make appropriate purchases
- Schedule staff efficiently according to business volume fluctuations
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain a professional kitchen staff
- Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
- Supervise food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage
- Manage kitchen equipment maintenance
- Conduct sanitation audits and implement cleaning schedules in compliance with Department of Health regulations
