Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three years of kitchen management experience
  • ServSafe certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Capability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • Willingness to comply with health and safety regulations
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods and lift objects with assistance

Job Qualifications

  • Three or more years of kitchen management experience
  • Bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
  • Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues
  • Experience preparing banquet-style events
  • Current ServSafe certification
  • ServSafe instructor certification or ability to obtain is preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage profit and loss

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
  • Review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
  • Collaborate with Operations and Sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute all events, including food and beverage preparation and cleanup
  • Assist with cooking as needed
  • Estimate food consumption and make appropriate purchases
  • Schedule staff efficiently according to business volume fluctuations
  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain a professional kitchen staff
  • Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • Supervise food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage
  • Manage kitchen equipment maintenance
  • Conduct sanitation audits and implement cleaning schedules in compliance with Department of Health regulations
