Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- availability to work full-time 43 to 48 hours a week
- ability to work weekends and nights
- experience in food service or restaurant industry
- strong organizational skills
- ability to lead and motivate a team
- basic knowledge of inventory management and ordering

Job Duties
- provides positive leadership to the entire staff
- provides on the job coaching for kitchen staff
- trains and guides staff to follow standards of Chook
- ensures staff is on time and ready to work
- alerts general manager if staff is late or does not arrive
- maintains proper food handling and kitchen safety
- leads in ordering for head of house
- maintains kitchen systems and organization
- prepares daily prep lists for the kitchen team
- completes end of shift checkouts for head of house staff
- manages keys and alarms successfully
- acts as a representative of the Chook brand
- communicates clearly with guests, staff, managers, and ownership
