Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three years of supervisory experience in kitchen or food service
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Leadership abilities with team development focus
  • Problem solving and decision making skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift 10-35 lbs
  • Willingness to work varied hours including nights weekends and holidays
  • Basic computer skills for office functions

Job Duties

  • Live out 452 Hospitality by delivering warm welcoming and memorable experiences for every guest and client
  • Ensure restaurant is adequately prepped and staffed (BOH) for daily operation
  • Oversee location kitchen duties ensuring quickservice food service safety and quality availability merchandising and guest service standards are met and exceeded
  • Manage safety logs including food temperatures rotation and waste
  • Ensure proper uniform hygiene handwashing and glove use with staff
  • Support SSAfety training with knife handling ensuring proper use of knife and slicers
  • Create daily prep and items lists delegating to employees as necessary
  • Support operations and fill holes as necessary to ensure smooth service
  • Maintain checklist of routine or daily cleaning tasks and ongoing projects or menu planning
  • Assign associates to duties coaching through projects daily tasks and guest interaction
  • Respond efficiently to guest and client feedback reporting to operations manager to mitigate complaints
  • Oversee personnel duties including training new employees issuing performance reviews managing progressive documentation attendance reporting and break management
  • Inspect equipment perform routine maintenance and cleaning
  • Assist team to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Communicate issues to Regional Executive Chef and Food Service Operations Manager
  • Work with restaurant supervisor(s) to ensure location operates to standard
  • Comply with local state and federal laws
  • Maintain clean safe and organized work environment
  • Uphold company policies and procedures
  • Perform other tasks as necessary
