Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of kitchen management experience
  • current ServSafe certification
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue
  • bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
  • experience preparing banquet style events
  • effective leadership and communication skills
  • ability to manage budgets and control costs
  • capable of managing sanitation and safety standards
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of kitchen management experience
  • bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue required
  • experience preparing banquet style events
  • current ServSafe certification required
  • ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred

Job Duties

  • adhere to the company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, as well as operating cash flow related to food operations
  • review monthly profit and loss statements and make adjustments as necessary
  • plan, supervise, and execute all events with operations and sales teams, including food preparation, service, and cleanup
  • estimate food consumption and make purchases as appropriate
  • schedule staff efficiently to accommodate business volume
  • recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
  • ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • supervise food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage
  • manage kitchen equipment maintenance
  • implement and conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with local Department of Health regulations
