Job Requirements
- Must be able to work full-time, Monday-Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
- willing to learn and work in a child-centered environment
- comfortable working with food allergies and restrictions
- meet position qualification requirements as outlined by state department guidelines
- satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations
- provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States
- have the physical abilities to perform job duties with or without accommodations
- ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff
- understand state licensing regulations and company policies
Job Qualifications
- Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the kitchen manager position
- has previous kitchen experience preferred
- experience working with children or in early childhood settings preferred
- knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
- positive work ethic and team-centered attitude
Job Duties
- Manage kitchen operations and staff
- ensure food safety and compliance with health regulations
- accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions
- oversee food preparation and serving
- maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- coordinate with educators to support children's nutritional needs
- monitor inventory and order supplies
