Job Requirements
- Ability to move throughout a restaurant standing walking kneeling bending for extended periods
- Ability to move around equipment in a restaurant
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Ability to make repeating movements of arms hands and wrists
- Ability to verbally express and exchange ideas and perceive sound by ear
- Manual dexterity hand-eye coordination and ability to work with hands above shoulders
- Ability to occasionally regularly frequently lift push pull balance and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to turn or twist body parts in circular motions
- Ability to tolerate exposure to heat cold chemicals and noisy environment
Job Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a professional kitchen with 1 to 2 years in a supervisory or lead line cook role
- Proven experience in food preparation and kitchen operations
- Leadership experience managing shifts or training staff
- Familiarity with inventory management food safety standards and scheduling
Job Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant and kitchen operations ensuring coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house teams
- Hire train and coach team members manage performance attendance and disciplinary actions
- Develop and maintain staff schedules balancing labor costs and service quality
- Prepare high-quality menu items following standardized recipes portion control and presentation guidelines
- Uphold and enforce strict food safety sanitation and cleanliness standards
- Monitor inventory levels receive and inspect deliveries label store and rotate stock
- Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing dishes utensils cookware equipment and food prep areas
- Track key kitchen metrics order accuracy ticket times and food waste report findings to the General Manager
- Manage kitchen budgets monitor food and labor costs and implement cost-control strategies
