Job Requirements

  • Minimum three years of kitchen management experience
  • current ServSafe certification
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue
  • ability to manage budgeted revenue and costs
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • willingness to adhere to company food and beverage programs
  • capability to recruit, hire, train, and retain staff
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • physical ability to walk, bend, stand for extended periods
  • occasional lifting with assistance

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of kitchen management experience
  • bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue required
  • experience preparing banquet style events desirable
  • current ServSafe certification required
  • ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred
  • strong customer service skills
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • high-level profit and loss management capability
  • excellent organizational and leadership skills

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the companys mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
  • review monthly profit and loss statements and make adjustments as necessary
  • work with operations and sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute all events including food and beverage preparation, service, and cleanup
  • estimate food consumption and make purchases adhering to specified food program
  • schedule staff efficiently to accommodate business volume shifts
  • recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
  • ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • supervise food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage
  • manage kitchen equipment maintenance and conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with Department of Health regulations
