Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- three plus years of kitchen management experience
- current ServSafe certification
- ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- strong leadership and communication skills
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- experience with budgeting and inventory management
Job Qualifications
- three plus years of kitchen management experience
- bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
- experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue required
- experience preparing banquet style events
- current ServSafe certification required
- ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred
Job Duties
- adhere to the company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
- maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
- review monthly profit and loss statements and make adjustments as necessary
- work with operations and sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute events including food and beverage preparation, service, and cleanup
- estimate food consumption and make appropriate purchases
- schedule staff efficiently to accommodate business volume
- recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
- ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
- supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of all food
- manage kitchen equipment maintenance and conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with Department of Health regulations
