Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years experience in a kitchen supervisory role
  • knowledge of food safety regulations
  • strong leadership and coaching abilities
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • availability to undergo background checks and drug screening

  • Previous experience in kitchen management or a similar leadership role
  • strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to manage and develop a team
  • excellent organizational and time management skills
  • experience with inventory and cost control
  • effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining quality and consistency

Job Duties

  • Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
  • enforcing compliance with employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety
  • directing productivity to monitor and maintain efficient food item ticket times
  • managing performance of Back of House employees including performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline
  • assisting with the development of key employees through daily feedback and one-on-ones
  • conducting formal line taste and temperature checks for inventory and safety
  • overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
  • managing food costs, tracking waste, and controlling kitchen labor costs
  • directing Back of House employees' work including scheduling and task assignments
  • training employees on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures
  • reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring or recommending hires
  • creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment consistent with core values and operational goals
