Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • preferably 2 years of restaurant, bar, or kitchen management experience
  • general knowledge of labor laws
  • understanding of health codes and safe food handling practices
  • knowledge of responsible alcohol service
  • familiarity with safety and security procedures
  • ability to lead and develop a team
  • strong communication and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • oversee the execution and performance of the Heart-of-House operations
  • provide direction and supervision for all Heart-of-House team members
  • ensure compliance with labor laws, health codes, and food safety standards
  • develop and train kitchen staff to enhance skills and performance
  • manage inventory, equipment maintenance, and food quality
  • monitor labor costs and optimize scheduling
  • maintain safety and security procedures in the kitchen area
