Job Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
- Minimum of two years previous food and beverage experience in quick service or restaurant
- 1 to 3 years management experience in hospitality preferred
- Must have current ServSafe or similar Food Handling Certification or be willing to attain within 30 days of employment
Job Duties
- Support the proper execution of all processes, systems and standards
- Ensure all deliveries are received correctly and logged
- Maintain effective inventory control, storage and rotation to minimize wastage
- Manage the café team ensuring they always work to the expected standards
- Adhere to scheduled shifts and willingness to stay beyond when business dictates
- Train café staff in preparing the full menu and front of house staff in preparing drinks and ready-to-eat foods to high standards
- Set a high standard and good example regarding punctuality, attendance and attitude
- Set a high standard and good example regarding cleanliness and hygiene including regular deep clean
- Maintain a clear, well-organized and easy-to-access café
- Handle guest concerns regarding the café
- Participate in regular staff meetings and training
- Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager
