Job Requirements
- 3 or more years of kitchen management experience
- current ServSafe certification
- ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- strong organizational and communication skills
- ability to supervise and lead a diverse kitchen team
- compliance with local Department of Health regulations
- physical ability to walk, bend, stand for extended periods and lift objects with assistance
Job Qualifications
- 3 or more years of kitchen management experience
- bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
- experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues required
- experience preparing banquet style events
- current ServSafe certification
- ServSafe instructor certification or ability to obtain preferred
Job Duties
- adhere to the company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
- maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
- review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
- collaborate with the operations and sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute events including preparation, service, and cleanup
- estimate food consumption and make purchases from specified food programs
- schedule staff efficiently to match business volume changes
- recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
- ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
- supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of food
- manage kitchen equipment maintenance and conduct sanitation audits to comply with health regulations
