Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 3 years kitchen management experience
  • certified ServSafe holder
  • ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume retail or entertainment environments
  • strong leadership and organizational skills
  • effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • physical ability to walk, bend, stand for extended periods and lift objects with assistance

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of kitchen management experience
  • bachelor's or culinary degree preferred
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues required
  • experience preparing banquet style events
  • current ServSafe certification required
  • ServSafe instructor certification preferred or ability to be certified

Job Duties

  • adhere to company's mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
  • review monthly profit and loss statements and adjust as necessary
  • work with operations and sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute all events including food and beverage preparation, service, and cleanup
  • estimate food consumption and make purchases accordingly
  • schedule staff efficiently to handle business volume shifts
  • recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
  • ensure product quality, freshness, presentation, and proper preparation
  • supervise portioning, garnishing, and storage of all food
  • manage kitchen equipment maintenance
  • conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules complying with local Department of Health regulations
