Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 3 years kitchen management experience
- certified ServSafe holder
- ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume retail or entertainment environments
- strong leadership and organizational skills
- effective communication and interpersonal skills
- physical ability to walk, bend, stand for extended periods and lift objects with assistance
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of kitchen management experience
- bachelor's or culinary degree preferred
- experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues required
- experience preparing banquet style events
- current ServSafe certification required
- ServSafe instructor certification preferred or ability to be certified
Job Duties
- adhere to company's mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
- maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
- review monthly profit and loss statements and adjust as necessary
- work with operations and sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute all events including food and beverage preparation, service, and cleanup
- estimate food consumption and make purchases accordingly
- schedule staff efficiently to handle business volume shifts
- recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
- ensure product quality, freshness, presentation, and proper preparation
- supervise portioning, garnishing, and storage of all food
- manage kitchen equipment maintenance
- conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules complying with local Department of Health regulations
