Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 3 years’ experience in a high volume kitchen setting
  • ServSafe certification and any required local health cards
  • ability to work physically demanding tasks including standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • availability to work weekends and holidays
  • strong communication skills
  • basic computer proficiency
  • willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons

Job Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of high volume theater, restaurant, or entertainment venue experience
  • ServSafe certification
  • local health cards if required
  • positive and coachable attitude
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • strong focus on guest experience
  • resourceful problem-solving skills
  • proven high standards
  • ability to work a minimum of 45 hours per week
  • basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office and G-Suite
  • willingness to work weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Monitor inventory and report results to the General Manager
  • develop hourly teams on inventory system utilization
  • maintain and control food cost through proper ordering and receiving
  • track labor and maintain budgeted staffing levels
  • interview and hire kitchen staff
  • participate in menu and limited-time offer rollouts
  • manage small ware supplies and ordering
  • uphold company standards of behavior and operational guidelines
  • ensure safe and sanitary working environment
  • maintain food quality through recipe adherence, line checks, portion control, and cleanliness
  • review ticket times to ensure prompt food delivery
  • conduct daily line checks, temperature logs, and use as coaching tools
  • schedule kitchen teams using forecasting and labor tools
  • lead by example and promote communication within the team
  • maintain kitchen communications board and verify team understanding
  • conduct daily and larger team meetings to inform and engage staff
