Job Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience including at least 3 years in a management/supervisor role
- Culinary degree strongly preferred
- Active Serve Safe Manager certificate
- Ability to delegate tasks effectively and provide team leadership
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Commitment to safety, sanitation, and company policies
- Knowledge of computer applications including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in varied kitchen roles including food preparation and management
- Culinary degree strongly preferred
- Excellent leadership skills
- Proficient in food planning, purchasing, sanitation, security, personnel management, and report preparation
- High familiarity with kitchen equipment and health and safety guidelines
- Effective delegation and team motivation skills
- Ability to handle fast-paced and high-pressure environments
- Strong communication skills

Job Duties
- Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs
- Responsible for ensuring that all financial (invoices, reporting) and personnel/payroll-related administrative duties are completed accurately and on time
- Ensure and enforce the highest standards of service efficiency, sanitation, and safety practices
- Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, and federal/state/local laws
- Estimate and calculate labor, and food and beverage costs
- Complete efficient provisioning and purchasing of supplies and manage inventories and receiving
- Coordinate and manage production of events and functions
- Perform all responsibilities of each position in the kitchen when needed
- Oversee the setup of stations and production of menu items
- Ensure proper plate presentation and adherence to product specifications and recipe guidelines
- Manage appropriate ticket times, quality and consistency of products, and waste prevention
- Maintain proper kitchen cleanliness and food storage
- Complete culinary schedules based on forecasted business volume
- Direct hiring, supervision, development, and termination of employees
- Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and performance reviews
- Conduct orientation and oversee training of new employees
- Implement safety and sanitation practices and report any accidents
- Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service
- Report unsafe working conditions and ensure proper repair of kitchen equipment
- Ensure security procedures are in place
- Adhere to company policies and perform other duties as assigned
