Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable working in kitchen and restaurant environments with flashing lights and loud noises
  • Availability to work during holidays, nights and weekends
  • Hold required state alcohol certification
  • Hold Manager ServSafe Certification
  • Minimum 3 years of food and beverage management experience
  • Graduate of an accredited hospitality management program or equivalent preferred

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English

Job Duties

  • Oversee services and busy periods at the pass ensuring food quality before guest receiving
  • Conduct thorough line checks and consistently taste/test food
  • Manage food cost, labor cost and inventory processes
  • Maintain food quality and safety standards, oversee all phases of food procurement, production and service
  • Focus on inventory, ordering, storage, rotation, food preparation, recipe adherence, plate presentation and service standards
  • Achieve or exceed written budgets by utilizing kitchen systems, schedules, tools and procedures
  • Manage recruitment, selection, orientation and training of kitchen team members
  • Handle scheduling and forecast business needs during busy and slow periods
  • Build and maintain morale by maintaining a respectful and professional kitchen environment
  • Identify and develop employees for future leadership roles
  • Address employee issues and take appropriate actions
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
