Job Requirements

  • Preferably 2 years of restaurant, bar, or kitchen management experience
  • General knowledge of labor laws, health codes, safe food handling and sanitation
  • Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and safety procedures
  • Strong passion for training and developing the team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years in restaurant, bar, or kitchen management experience preferred
  • General knowledge of labor laws, health codes, safe food handling, sanitation, responsible alcohol service, safety and security systems, and computer operations
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Passion for training and mentoring staff
  • Ability to maintain high standards of quality and customer service

Job Duties

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Heart-of-House kitchen team
  • Manage and supervise all kitchen staff ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Monitor food preparation and presentation to maintain quality and consistency
  • Implement and enforce labor laws, health codes, and safety procedures
  • Conduct training and development sessions to build team skills and retention
  • Maintain inventory controls and order food supplies as needed
  • Ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service and safety protocols
