  • ManageFirst Professional (National Restaurant Association) (preferred)
  • Certified Hospitality Trainer (CHT) (preferred)

Job Duties

  • Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices
  • Demonstrates cooperative behavior with supervisors, subordinates, colleagues, clients, and the community
  • Works well under pressure to meet multiple and competing deadlines
  • Monitors food safety including storage, preparation, and temperature control
  • Plans and updates menus considering nutrition, cost, and customer preferences
  • Develops recipes and supervises food presentations
  • Cooks or supervises meal preparation ensuring consistency and quality
  • Hires, trains, schedules, and evaluates kitchen staff
  • Directs daily activities of cooks, servers, and baristas
  • Ensures compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Orders and manages inventory of food, beverages, and supplies
  • Controls costs and monitors budgets to reduce waste and maintain profitability
  • Inspects equipment, supplies, and work areas to maintain quality standards
  • Handles financial tasks such as balancing receipts and deposits
  • Ensures customer satisfaction by maintaining food quality and service standards
  • Addresses customer complaints and resolves service issues
  • Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal food safety and health regulations
  • Coordinates with other managers or departments for smooth operation
