Job Requirements
- Two to three years management experience in operations in a high volume restaurant with diversified menu offerings
- Education and or experience normally associated with completion of a degree program in business or hospitality
- Successful completion of Golden Corral’s comprehensive management training program
- Must complete the Certified Kitchen Manager certification program within six months of assignment
- Position requires a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record

- Education or experience normally associated with a degree program in business or hospitality
- Successful completion of Golden Corral comprehensive management training
- Ability to complete Certified Kitchen Manager certification within six months
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Job Duties
- Achieves excellent food quality by ensuring Back-of-the-House and production Co-Workers properly prepare recipes to Golden Corral specifications and follow build-to's for excellent execution
- Ensures Back-of-the-House and production Co-workers follow the appropriate menu matrix and achieve standards for productivity
- Achieves period and annual budgeted food, labor and controllable costs through planning, scheduling and executing Golden Corral operating standards
- Meets all productivity labor standards for the Back-of-the-House and production positions
- Achieves all company standards for products, recipes, cleanliness and service times using Golden Corral systems
- Ensures compliance with all local, state and federal health and sanitation standards and company policies
- Controls food costs by ordering, receiving, storing, and producing food products according to Golden Corral specifications and production guides
- Takes inventories and reports small wares order requirements to General Manager
- Recruits, interviews and hires talented Co-Workers for Back-of-the-House and production positions
- Trains and coaches coordinators, assistant managers, crew leaders, trainers and team members on operating standards
- Ensures all Back-of-the-House and production Co-workers are trained and certified with Company training programs
- Cross-trains Co-Workers in positions other than their primary position
- Performs performance appraisals and disciplinary counseling sessions
- Conducts daily pre-shift meetings with the team
- Operates a motor vehicle to travel locally as needed in support of restaurant operations or meetings
