Job Requirements

  • Must have previous kitchen management experience in a full-service restaurant with a full bar
  • must have computer knowledge including Excel, Windows, and POS systems
  • must be results-driven, trustworthy, and team-oriented
  • ability to engage and develop team members and coach in adherence to company policies
  • must be passionate about the hospitality industry and focused on creating amazing guest and employee experiences
  • must be able to stand for 10 hours and lift 50 lbs
  • pre-employment screening required including drug test, criminal background check, and verifiable employment references

Job Duties

  • Coach teammates on how to deliver an excellent guest experience
  • coach teammates on how to anticipate, identify, and resolve issues that impact the guest experience
  • coach teammates on how actions impact the guest experience and how results indicate the level of guest service provided
  • positively interact and visit with guests and solicit feedback
  • handle and follow up on guest concerns escalated from the teammate level, escalate to GM and DO as necessary
  • ensure the quality of all restaurant facilities by coordinating with General Manager and Director, communicating with vendors, supporting repair or maintenance tasks
  • model standards and expected behaviors for restaurant managers and teammates
  • model and teach company values and culture
  • train new menu items and changes in standards
  • write schedules for department staff
  • coach teammates on operational excellence, maintenance, and facilities
  • motivate teammates to improve performance
  • deliver positive and constructive performance feedback and align on disciplinary actions
  • develop leadership skills in self and teammates
  • establish plans and communicate strategy to General Manager and Management Staff
  • measure specific goals to achieve company-accepted inventory levels, sales growth, and guest satisfaction
  • communicate areas needing improvement to meet business plan goals
  • review sales and trends and initiate programs to grow sales
  • learn profit and loss statements, forecasting, and scheduling budgets
  • conduct administrative duties in support of restaurant operations and compliance with laws
