Job Requirements

  • team player with a sense of humor
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • good math and communication skills
  • experience as a kitchen manager in full service or fast casual restaurant
  • demonstrated leadership skills including coaching, directing and motivating a team
  • exposure to p&l and sales building highly desirable
  • must be able to lift 30lbs frequently and up to 80lbs occasionally
  • ability to stand, bend and walk throughout the workday
  • able to work under high stress and fast-paced environment
  • responsible for operation of office and restaurant equipment

Job Duties

  • support head trainer to ensure training materials are used effectively in team member training
  • coach, train and develop back of house team in all job roles
  • ensure new team members attend orientation and provide training support
  • hold kitchen team accountable for product, labor and operating goals
  • prepare financial information accurately and on time
  • maintain personnel files and complete performance reviews
  • develop and maintain team schedules based on sales forecasts
  • promote the Hopdoddy culture and stay informed of market and competitive issues
  • ensure food is prepared to company standards and maintain food safety procedures
  • maintain inventory and scheduled preventative maintenance
  • provide warm hospitality and proactively handle guest complaints
  • motivate and develop back of house team
  • model personal excellence and conduct performance evaluations
  • communicate effectively with management, team and guests
  • manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain consistent performance standards
