Job Duties
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff throughout an entire shift ensuring efficient and smooth kitchen operations
- Ensure all team members accurately follow recipes and read tickets to prepare orders correctly
- Monitor and enforce accuracy in weights and measurements for all recipe items
- Maintain speed of service by ensuring team members work at an optimal pace
- Oversee the cleanliness of workstations and ensure they are clean at all times
- Ensure overall facility cleanliness including dining room restroom and parking lot areas
- Step in to perform any kitchen tasks as needed during the shift
- Address guest issues and consult with management on complex concerns
- Maintain a positive working environment treating all employees with respect while providing direction and feedback
- Communicate employee performance and policy procedure violations to management for appropriate handling
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures
- Learn and impart deep knowledge of food safety systems and processes
