  • Obtain and maintain ServSafe certification for Food Managers

Job Duties

  • Supervise and manage kitchen staff throughout an entire shift, ensuring efficient and smooth kitchen operations
  • Ensure all team members accurately follow recipes and read tickets to prepare orders correctly
  • Monitor and enforce accuracy in weights and measurements for all recipe items
  • Maintain speed of service by ensuring team members work at an optimal pace
  • Oversee the cleanliness of workstations and ensure they are clean at all times
  • Ensure overall facility cleanliness, including dining room, restroom, and parking lot areas
  • Step in to perform any kitchen tasks as needed during the shift
  • Address guest issues and consult with management on complex concerns
  • Maintain a positive working environment, treating all employees with respect while providing direction and feedback
  • Communicate employee performance and policy/procedure violations to management for appropriate handling
  • Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures
  • Learn and impart deep knowledge of food safety systems and processes
