Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of kitchen management experience
  • Current ServSafe certification
  • Experience working in high-volume entertainment or hospitality environments
  • Ability to manage budgets and labor costs
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift objects with assistance
  • Effective team leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of kitchen management experience
  • Bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
  • Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues required
  • Experience preparing banquet style events preferred
  • Current ServSafe certification required
  • ServSafe instructor certification or ability to become certified preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage profit and loss statements effectively

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the company's mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, and supplies
  • Review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
  • Work with Operations and Sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute events including preparation and service of food and beverage
  • Assist with cooking as needed
  • Estimate food consumption and make appropriate purchases
  • Schedule kitchen staff efficiently
  • Work with management to recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
  • Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • Supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of food
  • Manage kitchen equipment maintenance
  • Conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with local Department of Health regulations
