Job Duties

  • ensure all menu items are prepared according to established recipes and quality standards
  • monitor food freshness and rotation to prevent spoilage
  • conduct regular quality checks on cooked menu items before serving
  • maintain proper food handling and sanitation practices in the kitchen
  • order necessary ingredients and supplies for the kitchen based on demand forecasts
  • monitor inventory levels and minimize food cost by preventing waste
  • conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies
  • manage kitchen workflow to ensure timely food production during peak hours
  • optimize kitchen equipment usage and maintenance
  • collaborate with the front-of-house staff to ensure smooth order pickup flow
  • track kitchen costs and identify areas for cost reduction
  • monitor labor costs and ensure staff productivity
  • contribute to budget planning and forecasting
