Job Duties
- Hiring training and developing the BOH team
- flawless shift execution
- working with shift leaders to improve leadership skills
- managing BOH labor costs including weekly scheduling
- maintaining food cost standards by managing inventory food ordering and portion control
- creating daily specials that reflect the brand's creative spirit
- maintaining relationships with suppliers and food vendors
- adhering to all local and state food safety requirements
- streamlining kitchen processes to maintain fast casual ticket times
- fostering a positive team culture
- ensuring kitchen equipment is safe and well-maintained
- delegating and managing operational checklists
- conducting regular quality control tests
- communicating company policies to BOH staff
- ensuring all staff meet safety and food handling standards
- upholding personal hygiene and appearance standards
- assisting in community-related events
- serving as an ambassador of the brand
- performing other duties as assigned by management
