Job Requirements

  • minimum 3 years experience in kitchen management
  • relevant culinary or hospitality education preferred
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant environments
  • current ServSafe certification
  • ability to manage food purchasing and budgeting
  • capacity to lead and train a diverse kitchen team
  • compliance with local Department of Health regulations
  • physical ability to perform job duties including standing and lifting
  • strong communication and customer service skills

Job Qualifications

  • 3 plus years of kitchen management experience
  • bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues required
  • experience preparing banquet style events
  • current ServSafe certification required
  • ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred
  • strong customer service skills
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • high level of organizational and leadership abilities

Job Duties

  • adhere to the company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
  • review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
  • plan, supervise, and execute all events with the operations and sales teams, including food and beverage preparation, service, and cleanup
  • estimate food consumption and make purchases following specified food programs
  • schedule staff efficiently to accommodate shifts in business volume
  • recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
  • ensure product quality, freshness, presentation, and proper food handling and storage
  • manage kitchen equipment maintenance and conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with local health regulations
