Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age and bondable
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace
- High school diploma or GED
- Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to be certified
- Must be ServSafe certified or willing to become certified
- CACFP program experience preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, pushing and pulling
- Must be able to perform duties assigned by Directors
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED

- ServSafe certification or willingness to become certified
- Experience with CACFP program preferred but not required
- Ability to plan and prepare meals according to state health board regulations
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage inventory and food purchasing
- Effective communication and coordination skills
Job Duties
- Plan, prepare and serve menu according to nutritional standards and regulations
- Provide supplemented and/or parent supplied alternate foods for children with allergies or ethnic customs
- Coordinate with Directors the purchasing of food and supplies
- Ensure weekly inventory ordering, purchasing, and stocking
- Assist in managing food budget including choices and usage of purchases
- Maintain a sanitary and healthy kitchen and storage area according to ServSafe standards
- Participate in ongoing services to expand knowledge of nutrition and menu planning
- Assume other duties as assigned by Directors
