Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in kitchen or food preparation environment preferred
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and handling recommended
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Team player with strong work ethic
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Prepares batches of food cooked to order or kept warm until sold
  • Operates large-volume cooking equipment
  • Prepares, washes, and cuts food to be cooked, including handling raw meats
  • Assures minimal food waste
  • Works closely with vendors
  • Oversees truck deliveries, assists with truck orders, product rotation, and organization
  • Maintains sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety in food preparation areas
  • Provides direction to kitchen staff ensuring execution of duties
  • Ensures utilization of checklists and daily operational sheets
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
