Job Requirements

  • Be able to work full-time Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm
  • Have positive work ethic and team-centered attitude
  • Be comfortable working with food allergies and restrictions
  • Enjoy working in a child-centered environment
  • Be willing to learn
  • Meet or exceed state qualifications for the position
  • Have previous experience in early childhood education or related field preferred
  • Satisfy applicant background study required by state regulations
  • Provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States
  • Have physical abilities to perform job duties with or without accommodations
  • Communicate effectively with children, families, and staff
  • Understand state licensing regulations and company policies

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous kitchen management or culinary experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in or willingness to learn child-centered kitchen operations
  • Understanding of food allergies and dietary restrictions

Job Duties

  • Manage daily kitchen operations to ensure food safety and quality
  • Oversee meal preparation in compliance with dietary restrictions and food allergy requirements
  • Maintain inventory and order supplies in a timely manner
  • Supervise kitchen staff to promote teamwork and efficient workflow
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met consistently
  • Coordinate with teaching staff to accommodate children’s nutritional needs
  • Provide training and support to kitchen staff as needed
