Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in the casual restaurant industry
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Proficiency in POS systems
  • Current alcohol and food certifications that meet state requirements
  • Formal culinary training is preferred
  • Ability to verbally communicate in Spanish with the crew
  • Availability to work during open hours including evenings, holidays, and weekends
  • Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to withstand the physical demands of a restaurant environment

Job Duties

  • Lead back-of-house operations to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • Maintain safety, sanitation, and compliance standards within the kitchen
  • Support and develop kitchen team members through coaching and training
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs
  • Oversee scheduling and labor management for kitchen staff
  • Facilitate communication between kitchen and front-of-house teams to enhance guest experience
  • Monitor and enforce proper use of POS systems relevant to kitchen operations
