Job Requirements

  • 3 plus years of kitchen management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or culinary degree preferred
  • Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue required
  • Experience preparing banquet style events
  • Current ServSafe certification required
  • Ability to obtain ServSafe instructor certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
  • Review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
  • Work with Operations and Sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute all events including food preparation, service, and cleanup
  • Assist with cooking during events when needed
  • Estimate food consumption and make purchases aligned with specified food programs
  • Schedule staff to accommodate shifts in business volume
  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
  • Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • Supervise food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage
  • Manage kitchen equipment maintenance
  • Implement and conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with Department of Health regulations
