Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a food service management role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Commitment to maintaining high health and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in kitchen management or similar role
  • Background in sports and entertainment food and beverage preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and health regulations
  • Ability to manage high-volume operations
  • Experience with inventory management
  • Ability to train and mentor staff
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Ensuring that all food items and products are stored, prepared, and served based on the department's recipe and portion standards
  • Overseeing the training of employees to ensure the safe operation of kitchen equipment and utensils and the proper handling of heavy items and hazardous materials
  • Scheduling shifts by business hours, days, and occasions
  • Evaluate and celebrate/implement necessary corrective action of kitchen personnel
  • Supervising food preparation in the kitchen and ensuring that our guests receive a consistent experience
  • Maintaining clean working environments and making sure that employees follow the ballpark's preventive maintenance measures
  • Maintaining adequate inventory levels and conducting inventories as needed
  • Working with the Food & Beverage managers to create, portion, and price out menu items
  • Maintain a standard of health & safety higher than state & local health departments
  • ServSafe Certified is preferred
  • This position requires the ability to pick up heavy items, work in hot or cold environments, and be on your feet for extended periods of time
