Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years experience in kitchen roles
- 1+ year as Kitchen Manager or 3+ years as Assistant Kitchen Manager
- valid driver’s license
- ServSafe certification
- eligibility to work in the United States
- background check clearance

Job Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in varied kitchen positions including food preparation, line cook, grill cook, and expeditor
- at least 1 year experience as Kitchen Manager or 3 years as Assistant Kitchen Manager in a high volume kitchen
- college degree preferred
- combination of practical experience and education considered
- valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- eligible to work in the United States and agree to background check
- ServSafe certified
- flexibility to work nights and weekends

Job Duties
- Build the CHB team by making employment and termination decisions and coaching the team for growth
- uphold core values and reinforce company culture through hiring, orientation, onboarding, training, and evaluations
- enforce restaurant policies and administer disciplinary actions when necessary
- collaborate with GM, kitchen staff, management, and other departments to complete tasks efficiently
- create positive energy and build staff morale
- oversee training on safe kitchen operation, cleanliness, sanitation, and handling hazardous materials
- delegate and direct employees regarding operational procedures ensuring they have tools and knowledge
- schedule labor to meet business needs and cost objectives
- leverage professional development and educational opportunities
- ensure food is prepared and served according to CHB's recipes, portions, and standards
- prepare required paperwork including reports and schedules timely
- fill in as needed to maintain guest service and efficient operations
- oversee daily prep, ensuring accuracy and quality of products
- perform daily line checks and station cleanups before and after shifts
- manage cleaning schedules, deep cleaning, and facility maintenance
- assist with inventory management
- regularly inspect equipment for cleanliness and functionality
- order products according to specifications and verify orders
- control food costs through proper storage, recipes, and waste control
- monitor food holding and refrigeration temperatures
- enforce food safety and sanitation standards
- embody the brand as a community ambassador and make decisions in CHB's best interest
