Job Requirements

  • experience in kitchen management of 3 or more years
  • bachelor's or culinary degree preferred
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue required
  • experience preparing banquet style events
  • current ServSafe certification required
  • ability to obtain ServSafe instructor certification preferred
  • physical ability to walk, bend, stand for periods, and lift objects with assistance

Job Qualifications

  • experience preparing banquet style events
  • current ServSafe certification required
  • ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the company's mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow relating to food operations
  • review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
  • work with operations and sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute all events including food and beverage preparation and cleanup
  • estimate food consumption and make purchases as per food program
  • schedule staff efficiently to match business volume
  • recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
  • ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • supervise food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage
  • manage kitchen equipment maintenance and sanitation
  • conduct audits and implement cleaning schedules to comply with health regulations
