Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or certification from culinary school preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a kitchen management role
- In-depth knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations
- Ability to create and manage staff schedules
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Must be available to work required shifts including weekends
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Must be free from sedatives affecting job performance
Job Qualifications

- Familiarity with inventory control and cost management
Job Duties
- Create weekly cook and dough schedules to accommodate business flow needs, individual staff schedules, and labor targets
- Follow the Hash Kitchen recipe book with exactness and precision
- Lead weekly back-of-house meetings and schedule shift manager and trainer meetings as needed
- Work closely with and train cooks and other kitchen staff in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food to Hash Kitchen standards
- Monitor training processes and meet regularly with trainers to discuss staff member progress and goals
- Lead quality control, food safety procedures, and restaurant food safety guidelines
- Check and maintain proper food holding and refrigeration temperature control points
- Monitor and enforce the use of temperature log
- Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks or workers engaged in food preparation
- Maintain back-of-house facilities and equipment to uphold safety and cleanliness standards
- Communicate with General Manager when standards cannot be met
- Oversee all product orders and received products
- Control food cost and usage by following proper requisition of products from storage, product storage procedures, standard recipes, and waste control procedures
- Perform other duties as required by upper management
