Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience managing kitchen or food service operations
  • strong leadership abilities
  • effective communication skills
  • knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • capability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen duties

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
  • enforcing compliance with employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety in the restaurant
  • directing productivity to maintain efficient food ticket times
  • managing performance of Back of House employees including evaluations, coaching, and discipline
  • assisting in development of key employees by providing daily performance feedback
  • conducting line taste and temperature checks for inventory and kitchen safety
  • overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all food items
  • managing food costs, tracking waste, and controlling kitchen labor costs
  • directing work schedules and assigning tasks for Back of House employees
  • training staff on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures
  • reviewing applications, interviewing, and making hiring recommendations for Back of House employees
  • creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment consistent with core values and operational goals
