Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two to three years of restaurant management experience
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Capability to lift and carry 10-25 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work approximately 60 hours per week
  • Willingness to perform administrative tasks
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with cooking equipment
  • Compliance with health and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred degree in hospitality
  • Completion of Golden Corral Kitchen Manager in Training program
  • Two to three years of management experience in a high volume restaurant
  • Experienced in operations with diversified menu offerings
  • Ability to manage teams and lead training initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Effective communication and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Achieve company standards for products, recipes, cleanliness and service times using Golden Corral systems
  • Ensure local, state and federal health and sanitation standards are met
  • Control food costs by ordering, receiving, storing and producing food products according to specifications
  • Maintain food product inventory levels in line with company guidelines
  • Achieve budgeted food, labor and controllable costs through effective planning and scheduling
  • Ensure back of house staff prepare recipes to Golden Corral specifications
  • Take inventories and report smallwares order requirements
  • Maintain proper staffing levels and work with General Manager on coverage
  • Select, develop, train and reward crew leaders and assistant managers
  • Conduct training on new standards, recipes or system changes
  • Perform performance appraisals and disciplinary counseling
  • Perform other functions to ensure guests receive a pleasurable dining experience
