Job Duties
- Run all kitchen and shift responsibilities including opening and closing
- Deploy and manage daily team routines and schedules
- Create kitchen prep schedules, prepare and pull necessary ingredients
- Taste food at least twice per shift to ensure quality and flavor
- Execute food recipes flawlessly maintaining timing, quality, and freshness
- Ensure safety and security of food and team
- Hire, interview, onboard and train new team members
- Develop and coach team members with regular evaluations and communication
- Facilitate daily communication, shift hand-offs, and restaurant team meetings
- Foster a positive work environment and energetic atmosphere
- Manage food accountability including ordering, waste, yields, par levels and variances
- Oversee proper receiving, organization, and rotation of inventory
- Maintain food cost and inventory accountability daily
- Care for kitchen equipment and tools responsibly
- Monitor guest service and respond to feedback
- Implement action plans from third party inspections
